I'm looking to get a moonlight soon. I was wondering what the benifits are to it?
Also what moonlights do you guys have or suggest I get?
Not trying to spend to much... They're just moonlights

The one I had I just zip tied a cheap led tube on to my center brace from eBay not sure on the benefit

It wasn't that bright but was waterproof and cost about $15 ill see if I can find a link to one.

I think I have 2 of the cheap marine land LED's. Were like $10 each. Light up the tank enough to see a little bit at night.

As for benefits, there are none really.

I assume you dont have a controller? I have the reefkeeper lite and added moons to my 30 gallon. Love them they run with the actual lunar cycle cost is $69 add on to the reef keeper, and $10 each pod if you want to add more then the two it comes with. Two pods was exactly what I needed to cover my 30 gallon nuvo.
