My DIY 55 gallon

I posted this nice acrylic tank on craigslist about 5 days ago or so and people want to trade me weight benches or MMJ or guns they probably killed someone with. Ugh Craigslist...

Anyway looking to get 150 which is less then my craigslist post but willing to negotiate trades. I paid 300 for this thing new then drilled it and made an outside overflow. Only used it like 5-6 months before deciding I wanted glass. The tank is in great condition and is just wasting away sitting out back. Surely someone can use this.

It's a 55 gallon seaclear acrylic tank with black acrylic back and rounded front corners. 48inches wide, stand included

I was told my pics look ghetto lol so I am repainting the stand and taking glare free pics. I removed the plumbing from the back also. Hopefully an improvement.

who told you that? I think people are low on cash right now with gas creeping back up. IMHO thats a nice tank at a steal!

oh it wasnt told to me in an offensive way but I did spray paint the stand pretty poorly lol. It was a pine finish and I'm not a pine fan so went with black. A coat of semi gloss paint would make it look a ton better

I told him that. Definitely not in an offensive manner but more in the hopefully help him sell manner. The tank is such a good deal I would buy it , repaint the stand and sell it fir more. I simply told him that. I told him that my belief on why it hasn't sold is purely do to poor or ghetto looking photo representation. He didn't disagree and hopefully did not take NY context as negative.
