Need Apex Controller Head Unit

So my apex classic controller head unit just decided to die. I have already tried to trouble shoot it with Neptunes and they said it needs replaced. They said I have two options to buy a discounted classic unit or upgrade to the new unit. The classic costs roughly $220 and the new $375. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Is it worth upgrading or should I just save some money and get the classic again?

Imho keep with the classic... Really only need the new one if you start running apex pumps powerhead dos etc
