I just ordered a PAR meter from Apogee Instruments. It will be here on Monday. I plan on taking complete par measurements on all of my LED builds. I also plan on comparing my current MH system to my 50W LED build as soon as it is completed.

I am also willing to help others in the club with PAR readings. All I ask is that you cover the cost of gas from my place to yours. DV3, and other Aurora people, this means it could cost you as little as $0.25. :p I drive a small car with good gas mileage!

I'm up in Loveland and would love to have you come play. I just ordered a new LED and I would like to test the old ones prior to replacing.

I would prefer to offer my services as this is an expensive (and sensitive) little toy. For those that do not live within a reasonable distance (i.e. you live in FoCo, Colo Springs, etc...) I'm sure we can work something out for a rental.

Trade readings for tank parts Lyle and you can get a new Salt tank up in running in no time.

I got my Par meter today and it seems to be working rather well. So far I have only tested it on my pico that was tested a long time ago and guess what... It still has WAY too much light. I have the lights at less than 50% and still getting readings over 500 on the sand in some spots. Now I just need my 50W LED's (hopefully I will have them by Thurs, they left New York yesterday).
