Hello everyone hope all is well :)
like the title says i'm new into the hobby i just bought a 72 gallon bowfront with a wet/dry system and 2x150w mh plus 2x74w actinic compact flourescent and led moonlights as lighting.
i've got a good sand bed so far but i'm still looking for some items
i'm looking for
saltmix
live rock or dead rock idc i can reseed it

i'm not sure if i'll like the wet/dry so i would love to trade for a sump set up if your looking to get rid of it.

also if anyone can offer advice i'm all ears and would love the help:)
thank you and have a great day
Robbie

Go to aquamart and get kent salt mix box. 200 gallons worth for like 45 or 50. Elite has it and so does catfish charlies.

Welcome by the way! Are you the one I recommended?

Welcome!

Are you wanting to do a reef? FOWLR?
You can turn the wet dry into a sump if you'd like, or just run a wet dry. Nothing really wrong with it, just a little more maintenance.

What fish interest you?

If you do two pairs make sure you out them all in at once and there juvies. Nick ambrosio should tell you better tho!!

And make sure the yellow tang is put in last. There a-holes...

I have heard only do a pair of clowns. Multiples may fight but someone else may know better.
I heard the same thing but also heard the bigger the tank the more murder you can get away with. I've got a 180 with 2 ocellaris, 2 snowflakes, a yellow strip maroon and a white stripe maroon. My maroons hang together and the other 4 are always together. Never any fighting, the occasional "this us my nem nu-uh its mine" but that's it. It all really depends on the fish too. I've found that the percs and ocellaris I've had have gotten along with each other, but never had luck keeping black and whites in with them. Just my.02 on my experience

I have a pair of regular ocellaris and a pair of black ocellaris in a 90... Everybody gets along so far but eventually the females will get bigger and more dominant which could cause issues...
