Successfully moved the tank to my new place in Arvada on Friday. I bagged my corals and critters individually which I hadn't done for past moves and I think everything lived. Went barebottom in the process planning to go full SPS mode now that I failed on an anemone tank.
Come on don’t accept failure on the nem tank!!! Learn and go back to drawing board the bond between clowns and nemes is what got me in the hobby many moons ago!! Great job on the move always a stressful situation!
You're right on the nems - part of what got me into the hobby as well. I could see a bubble tip making it's way in once things settle and I finally beat this cyano.
All the coralline on my back wall ended up dying and flaking off but otherwise I feel I've turned the corner. Cyano is 98% gone and my corals are coloring up. Also starting to see coralline on the barebottom so it's coming back.
I think I need to get one of those orange filters for my iPhone 13 pro ... I cannot get a decent shot even shooting raw and messing with the colors.
I'm in the market for a nice 3 to 5 frag SPS pack if anyone has frags to sell. I've been to Aquatic Art and Mile High recently and they didn't have the level of corals I'm used to seeing there.
