Ode to the Watchman

Woke up, came downstairs with the dogs and see that they are fixated at the base of the aquarium stand, "hmm this cant be good". We just picked up Lieutenant Dan from Elite last night (Acanthurus tennenti or a Lieutenant Tang, yeah classy I know, you can thank Mike for that). Did the tang jump, nope, my Yellow Watchman goby did though.:(

Him and a pistol shrimp were the first fish I ever bought when I got into this hobby 3 or 4 years ago.

Some highlights of his:

Surived my first tank, a 14 gallon biocube
Survived the move to a 40 breeder
A few weeks after the move, survied a ride down the overflow and into the filter sock for I dunno how many hours. Others that have tried this parished.
For the longest time, he would come out of his cave and chase other fish around the tank. Most gobies will open their mouths and spit sand at fish that get close, not this guy, he cased both clowns around the tank countless times.
Surived the move to the 100 gallon
Best watchman we ever had (yeah only watchman).

I don't think it had anything to do with the new addition but it is strange.

No clue what that blasted shirmp is going to down without someone to bring him meals now.

I have a big guy I'll trade for a 12'er of new kastle, been with me over three years and is around four inches and hates me since I separated him from his pistol.

Yellow watchman?
Think my other half is more upset. I dunno which way to go. Maybe get something different, or leave the sandsifters out, always making my rocks unstable. LOL
