Peppermint Shrimp Factory is open for business!

Got these peppermints 2 weeks ago from Liquid Kingdom. Too bad I don't have anywhere to shelter these guys when they hatch - pic is the best I could do to capture mama shrimp fanning the eggs under her tail. She hangs out under her rock (I turned this pic right side up for you) all day, but when I fed some frozen squid and shrimps today, her and her BF came leaping out from the shadows and attached my turkey baster. In fact, he attempted to eat my fingers unsuccessfully. Spoiled little monsters. I have no doubt their aptasia-eating days are over now. And soon, there will be some very fat fish.

Wow, it is a PITA apparently to raise them separately. I've had a go at raising fish babies which was completely unsuccessful and have no time to be hatching BBS, so if anything hatches, it's battle of the fittest, lol. Thanks for the link!

Damn, I'd like to try these guys out when you have another batch. Always wanted to try something other than clownfish hehe.

Catching her in my 90g would be fun, but maybe with a trap?

I caught mine with my net just put some food in it and it crawled right in.You might be able to get her in by following your baster.
