I have a question about balanced fishie diets. I am currently feeding the blend from Elite Reef, augmented with some dried nori. I have 2 clownfish, a firefish, and my newest addition is a sailfin tang. Is there anything else that is needed to keep them healthy, diet-wise? I plan on feeding some blanched broccoli as well, to keep the sailfin happy with high levels of vitamin C..

i think someone closed this thread by mistake?

i think the elite blend probably has all you need might consider another snack of some live food every now and then but i thikn your fishies will be happy and healthy ....just make sure not to feed that much where it causes nutrients to build up

There is a science experiment about this!

From my speaking with people as I travel more and more, I've always heard that variety is always the best policy. That fish are like us, they want to eat different foods. I mean, you wouldn't want to eat broccoli for the rest of your life would you? Again, I've just heard variety is the best option.

I feed Elite Reefs Food, some flake food that I can think of off the top of my head, new life, and every once in a while I throw in some brine :)
