Reef safe cement recommendation please?

Want to make an arch for the new tank and not sure what to use to "stick" it together....

I plan to use a few pieces of rock and cement them together. Any advice or experience I can draw from?

There are few ways you can go about this. One way is to drill the rocks and use pvc to mount them. You can also use the same reef putty many of use to mount our frags on to rocks. I have seen people combine both methods to get the rocks just the way they like them.

Goto Home depot and get some EP 200 or EP 400 in the plumbing aisle.

I have 3/4 of a bucket of the Marco Rocks Home Depot equivalent (http://www.homedepot.com/buy/quikrete-20-lb-hydraulic-water-stop-cement-267339.html). It's pretty easy to work with and doesn't need to be cured like traditional cement. I used it and put the rocks right back in my tank w/o impact to the pH or inhabitants. It's very, very fast setting. It needs to be applied in small batches ~5 minutes at a time.

I've been using a two part epoxy putty from D&G that Elite Reef on Wadsworth sells, usually at the counter. Works pretty well and cures under the water if needed. Reef safe. However, it's about $7 per tube so I'm not sure how far that would go if you have a ton to do.

The EP 200 and EP 400 is reef safe and can cure under water.
