I have decided my Blue tang is out growing my 4 ft display. A brief history, I rescued this fish from a college kid who had her in a hexagon tank that was only 1/2 full and had water so murky you literally could not see end to end through it. The fish had a severe case of HLLE with no scales at all on her face. The college kid said she loved to rub her face on rocks and eat brine shrimp. Anyway, when I got her home I re-named her Skelator, started feeding her veggies, and most of her scales came back (the HLLE was so bad I'm not sure she will ever be 100% scaled again). 2 years later and she is doing great. I use the term "she" loosely, I do not know if Skelator is officially a boy or girl. Skelator is in that 4 to 5 inch range.
There has been some recent aggression with my yellow tang, Skelator has been chasing the yellow around, and yellow has some nipped top fin. I am guessing it is crowded for both fish, and the blue tang needs more swimming space. Ideally I'd like her to go into a tank that is 6ft. long or longer. I'd like it to be fairly well established, not a new set-up (but I am somewhat flexible on that based on experience). Mostly I want Skelator to go to a good home, with lots of lateral swimming room.
Skelator is free if all conditions are met.
