First up is a Vertex skimmer body. No pump. It probably functions awesome. I got it for free from a board member and never got a pump for it. Paying it forward as I got it and it is available for FREE to whoever wants it.
Second is a Reef Octopus OCTX160. The old pump went out and in the waiting period to replace the ancient Sicce pump that it uses, I bought a new skimmer. The pump is brand new, but it doesn't want to start. It can be started by cycling the power a hundred times, or sticking you finger into the intake and turning it. Then it will run forever. If I were to keep it, I'd buy an Aquatrance pump and the adapter to hook it to this. Or if it is in something that it never needs to be turned off for, it would be perfect. $40 obo on that one.
