Yea no,power and a tank related flood at my place
This thread is crazy. Does no one test and make plans for power outages? My wife would freak if my sump started to overflow. I think we had this discussion at the beginning of the year when there was a power outage down south.

I'm changing my new tank design. I'm going to put the 300G as the sump and the 120G as the display.

My sump didn't overflow, I have it marked so I only fillbit to a certain level. I didn't even know the power was out until I woke up this morning haha. It turned on soon after that and has been going in and out (probably not good for my pump) ever since.

This is what my yard looked like!! The two branches on either side of my car just barely missed the car!!

Heh m y sump overflowing is like a triannual event. I made some mistakes when I built it that would proably require a permit to correct. However I do think I came up with a solution sitting here this morning. Im going to drill an overflow for the sump to add more capacity for events like this
