ya its a brittle. This one is always out, but mainly because he is entirely to large to not be lol. He often just picks a spot and stays there all day, or at least until I feed the tank then he suddenly becomes very active.

We got a brittle too, but I've only seen him 2 or 3 times since we got him. I wish he would come out a littlle more.

My sand sifting starfish has a small growth on the top of one of the limbs. Looks a bit like a brain. I'll get a pic next time he surfaces. It's like a tumor. I can't find any info about them. Anyone know anything about this kind of stuff

Looks like a chocolate chip star (can't be sure from this angle though). Unfortunately not reef safe.

Yup, i read that post also, but thought they asked about post #31. All is now correct in the universe.
