I just moved and had to move my tank I was nervous about moving it. Well the move went ok I placed all coral and live stock into a 20 gallon holding tank to let my nano balance itself out for a few days after the move. Well I woke up the next morning to find my onyx female clown, male true perc, Mandarin, and my 6 line all floating. Come to find out my heater malfunctioned and overheated to 92 degrees. I panicked and tossed several emergency Ziploc bags of ice into the tank once the temp made it back to that of my nano 78 degrees I place my corals back into the tank. I lost my mini colony of Red Planet, my Tri-colored Vadila, 5 of 7 eyes off my original mummy eye chalice, 4 of 6 eyes of my Bazooka Joe chalice, my Blue Milli, my mini colony of an unknown blue with yellow polyp acro, my colony of Tyree Undata monti. That is all so far hopefully nothing else will die. Once things get back on track I will be looking for some replacement pieces.

Ouch! Sorry to hear it, and I, too, will be happy to share when you get stabilized again. (I had a heater malfunction that cooked a whole tank of african cichlids... I debated taking a break from aquariums, but a friend/enabler (saltySamurai) talked me into taking the big step up to a reef tank). I am still a little paranoid about heater malfunctions! ;->

thanks for the offers Lance Brent and Don. it was only my SPS and some LPS my collector zoas looked bad for a day and are now happy again thank god. as for my chalices only time will tell if they make it but they have not lost any more flesh and they are extending there tentacles so we will see. but im sad about my fish that onyx was so hard to find at such a great price and her and the male were actively lying eggs.

i also lost all my CUC so i will be replacing them in the near future.

anyone need a 120w 14k led panel to help me fund my replacement corals?

Daniel,

I don't have any super fancy corals, but will frag any of my sps corals for you. I have a couple of zoa colonies I can frag too. Let me know when you think the tank is stable, and you can tell me what you want.

Just a guess, but maybe Acropora Tenius. I was able to save a tiny piece from Red Bugs a couple years ago. The polyps are sweet.
