my family and I are going on vacation on the 28th of June for one week. I have a friend staying at the house to watch after our pets but he does not know tanks. This would usually not be an issue but I've been battling cyano. The tank has been a pain for a couple weeks. I hope to have things in line before we go but would love to have someone on call incase something goes bad while I'm away.

I'm hoping someone in Greeley, or really close, would be willing to stop by in the next week or so to see the system.? Then, be on call for a week incase of disaster!.?

Hopefully this will be a precaution and I hate to impose but I'm really nervous...

Thanks ahead of time!!! Mike

I'm a ceramics professor and would be willing to trade a couple of porcelain mugs or the like for being on call! If you need to come I'll certainly compensate you further. I also make ceramic frag plugs and can offer you as many of those as you want!!!

You know I work really close! I can stop by one day after work too look in! But living in Brighton you probably want someone closer in an emergency type situation

Too far to help with the tank check..but I did recently knock out a cyano issue in my tank. All it took was a bottle of microbe-lift special blend. I dosed weekly for 3 weeks at the maintenance level and it hasn't reappeared over the past 2 months I'm spite of increasing the feedings again :)

Can I get your # as a just in case thing? Thanks! The sump room is changed since you've seen it but at least you know what's up with it.

I may try something like that. I have a properly sized skimmer now for starters. I was trying to nurse a sick fish to health by over feeding. Needless to say, dead fish and nutrient overload. This stuff I'd tough to get to go away,

Juan and Charlie. Thanks!!! I'll contact both of you for a quick tank tour. Thanks for your generous offers!!! It's a piece of mind knowing you are willing to help out. Jack, I'll give my friend your # as a back up as well. Feeling much better!
