Seems that Colorado is out of them and i can only find one for a ridiculous 500$ bill on line. Please let me know if you come across one.

Thanks

Just out of curiosity what is the lowest price you've seen for a Lemon Drop? I was under the impression that $450 - $500 was the going rate?

I have seen some at Elite reef for $300 but that was a while ago.

Think I saw one at Aquatic Art 2 weeks ago. $400 if I remember it right.

I would be very careful if you find one for much cheaper. As someone who has been scammed on Sunbursts before, I am now very careful on the source....

The one at AA that looks like a lemon drop is actually a sunburst that has confirmed lineage from Ki directly. I thought it was a lemon drop also but it's not

The same sunbursts that regularly sell here in Colorado for under 350? Also I can buy them whole for 300-350 but would rather 300 - 350 buy from someone local personally.
Must not be retail pricing...

Good luck in your hunt and hopefully you find one

I personally think they are a sunburst that changes slightly depending on the lights and tank parameters. Just my opinion I guess

Lol I have only heard of the legend and seen it on interwebs, I'm excited to see one in JJS tanks though haha. I live vicariously though his build / tank thread.

For reference here was a sunburst I had last year. To some it looked like a "lemon drop" anemone

Here is a split from that same anemone

Like others have said lighting, water params, and size seem to play a role in the color...
