First photo does indeed look like a princess aka ocellate damselfish
MC Aquatics is one of those store that knows freshwater, and try's at saltwater, but doesn't really know that much about it, so not surprised they would mislabel it

Honestly looks like flat worms to me. But need a better closeup pic and more info.
Does it blow off easy or is it attached to the rock? Does it move around at all? Can you get some off an look at it up close?
IME peppermints tend to hide, and don't really come out of hiding while the fish are most active. Need to look for them in the evening or after lights out
Filefish have always been pretty good for me. I have one now and he does a great job of keeping the pest under control. They do have a tendency to nip at fleshy corals a bit once they run out of aptasia to eat but they don't ever seem to really harm the corals much, just kind of annoy them a bit.
Ya, that looks like dinos to me too. There are a lot of different kind of dinos and they can be hard to ID which type you have, but figuring out what type they are and what is fueling them can be the key to fighting them.
Some are fueled by silicates, some thrice in low nutrients, others feed...
