120 watt led groupbuy???

im interested in getting in on a groupbuy for some chinese led 120w lights

i just want something cheap for my frag tank ...anyone have the details from one of the previous alibaba.com deals

i believe they were under $150 each last

still $170 is cheap for the specs ...they are nothing compared to the reefkoi 120w lights but the specs are the same and i just need something to hang on my frag tank that hangs out in the basement

I got the same one as Shaun, took some tuning with the height but they are working pretty good.

I wouldn't mind getting one, but how satisfied are people with those units? How well do they take care of SPS corals and clams that are sitting under 20" of water?

Happy so far. Less blue than everyone was looking for, but I think the Acros like the white light. With no optics they don't cast hard shadows. Don't think I would use them on anything too much deeper than 20-24", but my corals are happy and I cut $50/month out of the electric bill for the three of the four months xcel has the extra tier. I got a third for my frag tank if I ever find room or just to have as a backup.

I have my crocia in my 90, and the lights are 8 or so inches off the water, its happy.
my sps is doing ok too, just cant find the sweet spot with my forest fire monti

if you guys can drum up 12+ units I'll drop it from $329 each to $199! you get my 2 year warranty and dont have to try to learn chinese and get screwed when they send the wrong lights, 1 power cord, etc etc.

so let see if I can win this! 12 pc total needed to get this rockbottom price

Great deal, I just got done looking at your website and saw the dimmable version. My question is at what height above the water are you using for the coverage spec. I am looking to cover a 75, but would like to hang the lights within a canopy, with top open for air. But I think then I would need to dim it. Probably only need EVO 100 then ?
