I mostly use PETG. It holds up best under UV lights, and in the harsh saltwater environment. Its also non-toxic and is the plastic most commonly used in kitchen utensils

Very nice, I was worried about it breaking down and releasing microplastics in the water column. I bet PLA wouldn't do well.

Ya PLA will breakdown over time. UV exposure will make it become brittle and eventually it will just crumble. Although there are some PLA types out there that can hold better then other but best bet is to just stick with PETG
