55 gallon drums

I got some 55 gallon drums from todds and they had car soap in them. If I bleach them and rinse them good would they be good for ro/salt water storage?

Its possible. I would only use ones that had food grade material in them though.

All the 55 drums I have used and still use came from a car wash

Just clean the heck out it and you will be fine.

I have a 55 gallon drum I got from Gale that I never ended up using. you can have it for a frag or $20

The one Kris has, held food grade oil.
I've been using the same type for many years with no problems. I just cleaned it out well.
