Pretty cool. Very impressive. Not sure if it's over kill or not. Plus I am not sure about low tide, I have never seen corals out of the water at low tide, or tide pools. However way above my talent, and tank building skills. Fantastic idea will I'll follow his build.

There are a select few corals that live out of water during the tides. For the most part tidal creatures are invertebrates.

Here is a link to a video of this system after being set up for 6 months. Seems to work very well. All of his corals seem to be fine even though they are exposed for several hours a day.

Reminds me of my trip to Australia.! Most realistic aquascape I have seen. The reef, during high tide in aus. Was out of the water like that for well over an hour I. 90+ degree weather. Neat tank!!!!
