Anyone dose vodka

I have been using BRS biopellets for about 6 months since I took down a colls type nitrate reactor. I used about half of the recommended amount.

Mike, Thanks a lot for providing your insight, and recounting what you went through in retrospect. I've started down the dark vodka and vinegar path... very slowly... and ever so cautiously. Hopefully we can recount our successes in 2014.

Craigar, if you decide to add an organic carbon source please go start slowly as many others have mentioned. Set your focus to months rather than days or weeks. Once you're sure that you're seeing results, cut back significantly. It's kind of like accelerating when a light turns green...you hit the gas to get up to speed but it doesn't take much pedal to stay there afterwards. You want to find your cruise control dose. Take this same approach even if pellets are your method of choice.

Really only .1ml per 25 gallons? Where do you get a serenge that small. Cause don't most test use 5 ml of water? Or am I messed up in the head! So for 225 gallons I would use.9 ml
