Apex AFS help

#1
I can't trust this Apex Auto feeder. The first half dozen times I cycled it, it got stuck in rotation. Now it barely makes it over the hump it was getting stuck on. Watch my video please and give me your opinion. https://vimeo.com/148445682

Here is one of a few YouTube videos I am comparing to http://youtu.be/8cf0YRwkf3Q.

As of now I would not turn my back on it for one feeding. Thanks.

Could be a partially bound gear. Try this.

open the battery box. Upon opening it you will see a motor with a white gear on it. Inspect the gear and clean off any debris that you find. Move the gear and ensure it moves freely. Then put everything back together and start it again.

I will look at taking it apart this evening. If it is a few screws I will give it a go. If its just retention clips I rather not risk snapping one before Apex says they will replace it. Thank you for the info!
