Perhaps someone knows (Zombie ?) - why can't I use my tank water to calibrate my Apex salinity / conductivity probe? If I feel comfortable that my Milwaukee is accurate, can I just use the tank water to calibrate to 1.026?

Thanks!

Yea - I do not use the apex to get accurate, necessarily, but rather to alert me in case there is a large deviation. Heck - I guess I really do not even need to calibrate, but it would be nice to have it read somewhat close to normal.

If you calibrated your refractometer with actual calibration fluid vs ro/di water then maybe but many of the stores in the Denver area have the calibration packets for the Apex or can get it. I believe Aquatic Art has them as well as Aquamart maybe?
