I think that maybe that temperature range you have on there is a bit too high. IME Trachys are very sensitive to higher temps, and much prefer slightly cooler temps. They have a tendency to 'fade' away and die when when kept at normal reef tank (78-80 degrees) temperatures and should be kept in a range of 72-75 degrees.
