Do you acclimate corals?

Just curious how many people actually acclimate their corals to water. I know light acclimation is a must but do you really do a 20 minute drip acclimation? I personally just do a coral dip then stick it in my tank. I read about these people doing drip acclimation or using a turkey baster to introduce water slowly.

Only one I ever lost was that red planet that I'm still convinced was the cut but yeah...

Yeah I guess I do the temp too. I float frags in my sump before doing CoralRX

Yep the only thing I will probably drip is clams. Sometimes I do add a bit of water to the bag for very expensive corals but that is very rare when I even do that.

I do a temp dip all the time and sometimes I do a coral RX dip. Just depends really...

If the coral looks like poo than I baby it. Or if I get it from a tank that looks like poo then I baby it.

i acclimate my sps for salinity only, as long as the temp of the coral is within 3 degrees of the tank. I don't acclimate most of my lagoon critters, i assume they are used to temp and salinity changes. Same goes with fish. If they are super delicate like copperbands, i tend to temp/salinity acclimate them them. Clownfish get thrown in the pool.

I was just curious. I've gotten a decent collection started. Up to 48 frags in a matter of 2 months. So I guess I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right.
