To keep costs down we are going to paint the stand and canopy. There are 2 choices

Gloss white- Hides spills nice dont see the salt trail

semi gloss black-most peoples fav.

+1 I agree I vote black even though I like white better I think will appeal to the masses more.

I personally like the rustolium hammer spray paints. I did my wood light hanger in it and it looks great. They have some nice colors too. I used the brown color and it has a nice gloss that wipe easily.

Black for the masses. Personally, I'd do white but not sure I'll have enough $$ to bid on this.

I just think black will have more wide spread appeal. My next stand will be white.

LOL I like the white too but voted black, could leave it unfinished and have the winner of the auction decide. I know it would delay the delivery of it, could it be a selling point? "custom"

I will not only buy, but will do the paint.
Spray or brush, you will not find a better painter.

I thought pidge was gonna spray it?

Leaving bare to finish later would be great. Then if the buyer wanted something completely different, they could just buy the paint and get it professionally sprayed for free.
