I will be in FT Collins Friday night and Saturday and was wondering if there are any good shops in the area. Also what about the Denver area? I will be traveling I-25 and don't wanna drive too far from it. I love checking out LFS and buying things I can't find in Colorado Springs.

Two great places in Fort Collins is D&G Pets on harmony and lemay and Great White Aquatics on Troutman and College. They're both fairly close to each other and about 3 mi from the interstate. I would check out both because they usually carry different items and specialize in different areas(for example D&G has amazing aquacultured florida LR, while Great White is usually cured Fiji boat rock). Both stores have a decent selection of corals and fish depending on when their latest shipment was. Hope ya find something good!

Don't forget there is Alpine koi and pond up north off Mulberry (close to i-25). Probably one of the smaller salt water sections but definately a good CLEAN environment. All three are worth a stop in imo.

Great place. They don't advertise their salt much. Great selection of fish, always had good luck with them, nice employees. Right across the street from the Stampede? (big arse country bar on east mulberry)

Go see Josh, he I about 20 minutes from alpine koi. Well worth the trip. Take some money because you will want something while you are there! His prices are great. I just got a bad "a" welsco for $60. Denver checkout Cris at aquatic art. Contact both dudes before to set appointments.
