Id like to knwo whats up with the Elbows??

Also, you guys having luck getting these dialed in? Ive ran mine constantly since I got it. The bubbles seems to be right and when I get them to the height in the viewing window they should be everything seems to be good. But ill check the collection cup within a couple hours and its full of water. Heres the starnge thing, once the collection cup fills up with water its seems to start skimming as I am getting thick bubbles and gunk on the top. Im wondering if I need to raise the height of the skimmer to be out of the water more, or if I need to restrict the flow going into the skimmer from the pump??

No worries, I think I got this thing dialed in, I no longer need the elbow. I just cut the fins off where the elbow would attach and put a PVC elbow on it, skimmer seems to be working properly now and not filling with water.
