If the ph probe is dried out, ie not in the solution cap, it's most likely not good any more. FYI.

Wow..... My wife was all about it when I told her "it will make things so much easier, safer, give me more free time, and save me money in the long run.."

Make things easier - less geussing
Safer - controller for heaters and lights helps avoid having a meltdown or house burning.
More free time - less testing.
Save money - controls heating, cooling, power management, and a whole bunch more to alleviate deaths of corals and fish which cost money to replace.

Be sure to explain the purposeness..........
