Yepp they say a cc star every 2 weeks. They are cheap and some say even a month they only need one ill get em fat and see how fast they chow one down. Hopefully they paralyze the cc star fairly quickly cause they are in my 30 reef. Always wanted one and I got a pair! So stoked to have these guys. They are so fun to watch. Got em from drawsome420 and he's had then for a year now.

Very nice man. Just keep the cc in the sump of your 90. Only put the cutoff legs in the 30.

Will they eat the legs though? I read they like to have the whole star?

Cc stars are fairly huge for them. They will devour a leg every week or 2. If you put a whole star in,they will kill it and it will rot before they can eat the whole thing. Just a leg at a time is all they need.

cut it off with scissors, bone cutters, or a knife... ive never had luck trying to tear them off.

Yep. The rest of the starfish should stay alive in your sump.
