High Mg

I noticed that the Mg seemed to stay the same the last few times I tested even though I was adding each time. I bought a new kit at the meeting yesterday and it's now reading ~1590.
I'm going to do a pretty big water change but is there anything else I can do?

Water change is fine. Otherwise, I would not sweat it too much.

Test the freshly mixed saltwater and see how it comes out. Compare it to the salt mix's parameters and see if your test kit is OK, or not.

Also, how would it have gotten high? You dosing mag?

Yes, I hadn't tested and dosed in a really long time and was getting #'s back in line.
