GoDaddy saw this thread and boosted the speed, at least I keep telling myself that

I dunno, but I went looking on web diagnostic sites and the consensus is clear, its the host and server size, we have more users than the host can handle, a "heavy site".

You should prune all the users that haven't accessed the site in more than a year. You have 664 users that haven't logged in for a year or more.

That would drop the number of members by just over half. That should help out a little.

That wouldn't do anything for page loads if that's what your suggesting.

No don't think it would be the answer. There are a ton of things to do that help a little. vBulletin loads with a lot of defaults that are nice but only work with small sites. I've sent Juan a whole list of things they suggest to get the speed back up.

Godaddy has a history of sucking though, no list can fix that.

Latency Problem With This Site

Why is this site so buggy and slow these days. Lagging like crazy on me and I tried 3 other browsers and still the site is very slow. Crap wrong forum topic. Please move this one to the correct place my bad
