I just set up a web cam on my 29G and stream it so now I can look at my tank whenever I want, even on my phone. Other people can tune in too ustream.tv/channel/aquastream29G (don't mind my hair algae outbreak) :wall: I figure this will be especially helpful when I go on vacation and have other people tend the tank. I started with my 29 biocube cause its in my office within usb cable reach of my computer. but I think I like this idea of being able to check in on my tanks so I think I am going to drop some cash to get wireless cams for my 75 and 40.
What do you guys think? Anyone else out there do this?

! I have it hooked up to my desktop its a decent system (3ghz quadcore, 8gb ram) but about 2 years old and nothing I would consider top of the line. Probably wouldn't be quite as smooth on a laptop unless it was high end. Ustream is a free service, that is what I am using anyway. They do have a subscription option that I assume would get rid of the annoying commercials that come on before the stream
