...There was recently a similar situation on another local forum and come to find out the person is 13 and has a disability so communication wasn't the easiest thing.

Think before you post how you would perceive it if the OP was your child and saw a group of people openly making fun or joking about your child or whatever. You want that to be the reputation of MASC ?
and I would agree with this 100%

Reading the responses in this thread, however, I did not see anybody blatantly attacking or criticizing the OP. Again...a few sarcastic remarks, but for the most part, the replies have all been genuine concern for not just the livestock but the community as a whole since people may be at a risk of receiving sick fish.

Granted, sarcasm doesn't always translate well via text...but the fact is that people who post are responsible for what they choose to say on the forums. Since we try to refrain from heavy amounts of moderation, it's up to everyone to choose their words carefully and consider the impression of themselves that they would like to leave with the community.

I agree, sounds like a young'n. I've made my share of bad decisions in this hobby. Always take the positive/helpful road; that's what I mostly find here and love about this site.

Back on topic.

To the OP. Take a day or two and think about what you want your tank goals to be and do a little research on the fish you have in your tank now. Of course, we can always help on any items you have questions on. Once you have decided which fish will hurt your ultimate tank goals, go ahead and put together a list here of the ones that you definately want to go. From there people interested can get in contact with you to get the fish they want to take from the list. As courtesy, make the buyer aware that there is a possibility that the fish could have ich and should be quarantined and preventatively treated as such.

mabaeza15, Since this thread has gotten so far off track I would suggest that you make a new post that lists which fish you would like to get rid of and prices for them. I would also include some more info about your tank, the issues you have had and why you need to re-home these fish. Something like this:

Fish in need a new home:

Red Coris wrasse - ($Price)
Blue reef Chromis- ($Price)
3 stripe damsel - Free
Domino damsel - Free

I am getting rid of these fish because I have overstocked my new tank which lead to some fish dieing and possible ick or parasite infection, so these fish will need QT to ensure they are healthy. PM me if interested

As simple as that
