I can't imagine that this would be worth the cost or stress involved. In order to cut it down and rebond it, the cut edges have to match perfectly. One mistake, even a tiny one, and it's ruined. I'd sell/trade it for a tank that can fit into the house, or put the money toward materials to make a new tank the size you want, and build in place.

True. Didn't think of that. Looks like I'll be selling it
