You suggesting I turn the T then so it hits a "wall" and separates the flow?

I don't have room to add a ball valve and split off as well.

Here is my second attempt at return pump so it kind of splits off the flow more evenly.

I would put the T in the middle and 2 unions. one at each side. hard plum it to the sump and then use a very short hose to connect it to the pump. hope that make sense?

I understand what your saying. I'll keep that in mind if this doesn't work out.

The hose in working with is really stiff, I don't want to put too much pressure putting stuff together so it doesn't crack or break anything like it did on my 40 breeder

Putting the T in the middle even the water flow out more, correct?
