I did see something about values being "higher" west of the Mississippi. But x2? Really?

I sense a business opportunity here... buy campers out of state for cheap & bring them here to sell for not cheap!
Let's not let people in on my plan

Cost of transport. License and registration wouldn't make you much money and that not including your time.

In state can be a pia... Check for current registration, as I'm pretty sure the penalties carry to the new owner.

I agree prices in CO are higher. I picked up my truck bed camper in Dixon, IA, for 5500, comparable in CO started about 7500. Can't comment on licensing since truck bed campers dont need plates, no wheels! Use allofcraigs.com or searchtempest.com to search craigslist nationwide to compare prices elsewhere.

Dose the registration follow the trailer with he new owner? So, it the current owner paid for the registration 6 months ago, would I have 6 months? Or do I need to take care of it immediately?

We have had two pop ups and just recently sold our last one. My biggest concerns were no leaks and did the furnace and fridge work. Both of our trailers were in very good condition and sold very fast at what we were asking for.

You will know when you see the right one for your family, but you will have to move fast if it's a good deal. On both occasions we had multiple people waiting for the first person to say no on buying ours, so look a couple times a day and get ready to boogie. I hope you find a nice one.

Wouldn't hurt to check craigslist in the neighboring states. We were looking out of state at some good deals when we purchased our rv.

We're getting this little guy! Negotiated a good price, nada average retail! Most people wanted double nada average retail. The inside is super clean and all mechanical stuff works smoothly. They are even delivering for us as I don't have a hitch! We may be upgrading in the spring and don't want to spend the money on a hitch. If we keep the Subaru it's capable of pulling this little camper!

Thanks for everyone's advice!!!

Right on, we actually had the same model only different year. Make sure you place those braces under the beds. Have the kids sleep on the side over the propane as it is next to the door and doesn't have as much wall support as the other side. Great little camper, easy as heck to pull.

Glad it's easy to pull since we only have a subaru to do it. Lol but it's well within it's capabilities according to the pop up forum I found.
