While planning a wedding probably isn't the best time to get back into the hobby, but I've got the bug and can't help it, plus I've got the go ahead from the fiance, so I need to capitalize on that! haha
Luckily she didn't know me when I was a reef addict years ago, otherwise there's no way she'd be on board with such a potentially expensive endeavor. I'm going easier this time though, and hopefully learning from previous mistakes. One of the things I swore I wouldn't do again is buy new equipment. So I thought I'd post a list on here of some of the things I'm looking for, see what people might have hanging around.
I'm really kicking myself for not hanging on to some of this stuff... :der:

Ill be picking up a tank tomorrow, but I still need:
-refractometer
-submersible heater suitable for approx. 60gal
-hang on tank overflow
-smaller sump/fuge -
-auto top-off
-return pump (I'm rusty and have forgotten my model numbers)
-decent skimmer for approx 60gal
- plus the usual misc junk, nets, scraper, etc.

Thanks for any assistance, I'm looking forward to meeting some new peeps!

I've got an extra refractometer. Marine depot pro model. Just calibrated it and compared to my h2 ocean dd refractometer and right in the money. Ill sell it for 50$ in perfect shape sells for 70$ new. And I just calibrated it. Ill be at the meeting if you want me to bring it.

Ha! Yeah it's true, soon I'll be selling homemade calcium reactors in LFS parking lots to the feed the habit... and then it'll be too late. ;)
But thanks, glad to be back!
Sending PMs now.

I've got a CPR Pack-Pak 2 skimmer. It's built to hang on the back of a tank but it could fit on the back of a 20 gal or larger sump/fuge. $25 with two working pumps.

Thanks everybody, I think I've got everything I need to get started now! Sorry, just realized I missed a few responses- wasn't trying to shine anybody on. ;)
I picked up some lace rock from Aquamart yesterday (somebody must have broken down a tank, because it's clearly been underwater for a long time), and I don't know how it could be possible, but I'm 99% sure I got one of my rocks from 5 years ago! It's a very distinctive 25 pounder, and I knew its shape well. How crazy it that?! lol
Again, thanks everyone, hopefully now I can start posting more than just WTB threads!

haha I know how that sounds, but lace rock comes in some interesting shapes; a bit more unique than typical live rock. It also doesn't hurt that I've got a ridiculous memory... at least when it comes to meaningless details like this. :lol
