Don't dip them in typical dips like CoralRx, Revive or the like. If you have to dip, then potassium chloride or bayer.
They are like normal acropora except most cannot cannot handle as much parameter flux - more stability. Most are not going to be happy with higher no3 and po4 levels. The majority are not happy under super heavy-blue, so mix in some daylight. Some will not encrust, so make sure that you secure them well. If you can keep them happy, most grow very fast and are really beautiful.
For the most part, they just require a bit more stability and care. There is a reason why they have kinda declined with nanos, lower intensity and more blue lighting and people wanting turn-key tanks that look like mature reefs in 2 months. Just be smart and they are pretty easy. There are some well-known ones that are very easy - like true ORA Hawkins - that will grow more like a tenuis or stag under less than ideal conditions.
