That would be awesome if this gets done by meeting time. Also thank you Andyrm66 for doing this for the group, I know putting something like this together takes alot of time and effort without having to deal with a language barrier, so thank you.
Also just too put this out there, anyone who has not delt with shipping from China should know that shipping times can vary greatly, I have had things take up to a month to get here and tracking does not always show correct updates, that being said a member on thescmas just ordered 6 led panels from China and they were here in 8 days, so you never really know
Thank you.
I wanted to reiterate this, the mfg can quote us a shipping time, but these are coming from China, meaning they could get pulled and stuck in customs for 3 weeks or we could have them in a week. This is beyond our control, so please be aware of that.
We are just about near our goal of 35, once we reach our goal or surpass it, I'm going to say no more adding pumps. The reason for this is so I can get a PO and we can get the exact dollar amount. We are not ordering from Bulk Reef or a retailer for that matter, so its not simple to change numbers on a whim once we get that ball rolling. They are not fast at getting back to us, so the less back and forth we have the better.
I'm not trying to be difficult, trust me - but when dealing directly with a manufacture, in China, we need to do what we can to make it as simple as we can. I'll post when the cutoff has been made, but expect it sometime tonight or later if that's what it takes to reach out cutoff.
I am awaiting to hear from them, how long until they ship out - i.e. do they have the stock on hand.
Also we are unsure of the warranty, sounds like best case, it would be 6 months on parts. But you would still need to ship them back to China, if there is a warranty. Does this pose an issue for anyone? With the cost of shipping one pump back - I would recommend you order a spare instead. How does this sit with everyone? Remember these aren't Tunze pumps, nor do we get Tunze/Ectotec customer service, but we aren't paying Tunze/Ecotech prices.
I just want to make sure everyone that's getting in on this is well aware of the risks and rewards we are looking at. If your not comfortable with possible waiting a little while on the pump, or not having us based support, please, don't order. I completely understand.
Any other questions, concerns, thoughts?
Thanks!
