Im looking for a 125 gallon reef ready aquarium. Just like the title says. I just want the tank. Possibly a stand and canopy if you have em with it, if not thats fine i was intending on building my own stand if i come across just the tank. Let me know if you have anything. New I can get em for $510 but hope to maybe find one for a better price. I have a 75 gallon reef ready AGA aquarium I also have in someone is interested. I built a custom stand for it, its cabinet grade plywood with pine trim. I designed it with a solid back so it would have a single, larger door. I also designed the door to fold in half so its easier to work on things and not run into the door or have tight space too. The tank is completely cleaned, I removed overflow box for a vinegar bath and then resiliconed the entire tank and siliconed the overflow box back in at the same time so it was properly sealed. Its on the stand with just water running through the sump im designingfor it. so you know for sure there are no leaks. The guy I bought it from cut out all the slots on the top part of the overflow box to get more flow i suppose. But i repaired it with a piece of black acrylic I had the local acrylic place cut for me and siliconed it in place so its just like it originally, just the slots are about a 32nd of an inch larger to still allow a good surface flow. It keeps up with the max the 1 inch drain bulkhead will allow. Let me know if your interested. Ill sell the tank and stand, I planning on keeping the light tho and reuse it. I just want to sell the tank, stand and possibly the sump if you want it, Im still finishing it, just waiting til my next pay check to get the acrylic pieces i need to finish it. let me know if your interested and how much you have in mind. Im not 100% sure what I want for it just yet but send me an offer of what you may think for and we can go from there. and the $510 on the 125 is what i can get it for new. If someone knows who sells them for a better price let me know.
I think I got a better quote for one from great white in fort collins.

yea i was looking at that 135 and am talking to the guy right now about it. he was sure how old it is so im gonna look into the cost of getting a drilled bottom made for it either out of glass or acrylic, which ever is cheaper and as long as the acrylic would work before id drill it. Im iffy with the drilling on older tanks. I had a 55 i was gonna drill the back pane with but it shattered from being tempered glass. and new ones its just the bottoms that the 55s should be tempered. and since the one piece shattered i checked the other side and sure enough it was tempered too. Ive been successful on a friends 40 breeder and another friends 75. but they were both newer tanks too.

ill check with great white tomorrow, and maybe a few places in denver. Im actually located in foco, thats the quote D&G pets gave me. And from what he said their doing a sale on tanks and that their all at wholesale prices right now and thats what he gave me for a price

I went there to check cause great white is usually pretty pricey. And was hoping D&G had one in stock so i could take a look at one. unfortunately they just had the regular 125.

actually ive thought about it with my 75 gallon rr. I will sell the tank the stand and the light. the light is an Aquaticlife 48 inch t5 HO 2 actinic 2 10,000k and has 4 LED lunar lights on it. Aquaticlife sells replacement parts on their website so it makes it easy to get parts when needed. The light is used, but works great, Ive been letting it run a normal cycle for around a month now since i got it and has no real issues with it. Id like to try and get $400 obo for it all.

Checked with great white today. They quoted me $765 for a new 125 aqueon reef ready. So D&G has a way better offer on em right now. I might as well just save up for a new one if i cant get one used cheap enough. And to go through with drilling and putting in an overflow it may still be worth just buying one while their on sale. Idk though, If I dont get any offers on the 75 Ill just save it or give it to my mom if she ends up wanting a tank.but will wait for some offers for a few first.
