WTB: NEED Tiny Creatures in really Grungy sand and/or live rock/chaeto

#1
Reefers semi-close to Broomfield:

Does anyone have some really grungy, fresh live sand and/or cured live rock and/or super infested chaeto, lol? Maybe not like one big handful of aptasia (although that would be ok too, because I have some hungry peppermint shrimp), but something that might carry pods, brittle stars, worms and other delightful creepy crawlies? When I see people's tanks, I find myself more interested in the small life within than the large.

I'm not looking for just good bacteria, because I have that, but I recently moved everything from a 55 to a 90 gallon and appear to have lost ALL my pods, worms and maybe other stuff (tried the nighttime flashlight trick to find pods stuff and nada). I was not able to bring the sand over very carefully or quickly and I let it get pretty cold with no aeration. That said, I never did have visible stars, baby snails or worms, so it would be cool to get some.

If you have a piece of cured live rock, not base rock, WITH cool tiny stuff on it and maybe a few cups of fresh, garfy, grungy sand containing the above creatures or others, I would love to swing by and grab it. Not afraid of bristleworm. I would order this stuff online, but I would much rather give someone some holiday cash for it.

Let me know what you have, exactly how much you will charge and where you are located (I drive a cowboy limousine with 9 mpg so distance is important - focusing on Broomfield, Westminster, Thornton area). I don't have much in the way of trade except for a couple small freshwater tanks and chems, but do have some cash. THANKS and Merry Christmas/Happy Hannukah/Kwanza!

You can have a cup or two of sand from my tank if you want to swap for a cup or two of yours. Can swap a fist-sized rock for one of yours as well. I have pods and various worms. I have some macro algae (not chaeto) and DBTC Kenya Trees if interested. If you want to throw me $5 or $10 that would be cool, too. Thornton, 136th & Holly. PM me if interested.

Thanks, I will PM you when I can make it out. I never thought of that - I do have lots of dry sand I didn't use in my build and I also have my own sand for what its worth (though my current sand bed is sort of shallow). Dry, I have like 2-3 5g buckets of in case anyone wants it in exchange for live rock. It's mostly fine powdery aragonite, though I also have half a bucket of the grittier stuff (suspect it has some small crushed coral mixed in)

I have a bunch of sand in the sump, and rock of all sizes also, you are welcome to come swap some of yours for good live stuff. (longmont)
