Well still no power here been out since 9am yesterday! Generator still kicking azz! Have heater return and a reef bright led running on it as well as the fridge. Well thank good for all my winter hunting gear has helped keep the house warm.

What generator are you using? I want to upgrade. Wondering how much food I’ll be tossing.

How long will it last on a tank of propane? I didn’t know anything like this existed, pretty cool!
Of course fuel economy depends on the electrical demands, but I think my 30lb propane tank would probably last me for 24 hours (considerably more if I only powered the tank and didn't use the TV/house lights/etc...). The down side to propane is it wont make as much power as it would with gasoline.

Thinking of getting this one. Independent reviews say it’s reliable, quiet and gives clean energy. It’s less than $400. Not a Honda but as seldom as I use it should be great. Any suggestions before I pull the trigger?

I bought this one last year for camping. Works great. Quiet and reliable
