Ordered a few 250w DE Hexarc phoenix bulbs from interlight, but they sent me Plusrite bulbs instead including these 2 bulbs which obviously are not DE. I have all DE fixtures so I cant even use these at all so they are up for grabs to anyone who wants them. Wouldnt mind a frag or 2 for trade but...

Updated my lights finally. Did away with the 3x 150w mh fixture and replaced with 3 250w MH. Also finally put up the other 3 Nicobars I have had for ages and put them on a dimmer. I also made new canopy panels to hide all the lights and wires above the tank. They are real simple panels with 1/4"...

I haven't had a problem with it going sexual. I just prune it at least once a month. I keep it on an 18 hr light cycle and I keep pipe fish and a mandarin in that tank too.

One of my EB8 is acting weird and wont realibly turn outlets on/off anymore, so I need a replacement one. Anyone got some older work EB8s lying around. Need at least 1 but would take 2 if they are available. Let me know what you got

Finally re-did my lights and I no longer need this bad boy. The club donated it to me many years ago and it works great. Comes with ballasts and I have 2 BNIB bulbs I can throw in too. Free to the first person who comes and gets it

Perfectly normal for them to disappear. They are nocturnal, so you will be lucky to see them again anytime soon. Once they deplete most of the apstasia then they might venture out more during the day to hunt for new ones, but that will take many months usually.

Who all have you tried? But honestly I doubt any company would ever want to install those for you without a maintenance contract and the reason being is that all those upgrades you mention each have the potential to crash the tank, so it would be a huge liability for them to come install those...

Sorry to hear that, but ya would be a good idea to put all remaining fish in QT and treat them while you let the tank sit fallow for 2 months or so
