Anyone want a breeding pair of Clown Fish?

#1
Hello Colorado Reefers,

I'll be moving out of Colorado in a few months and I'm looking to find a new home for my Clown Fish. They are about 7 years old and have been laying eggs for the last 3 years.

I'm located in Colorado Springs. I'm giving them away (free) to anyone who can pick them up and give them a good home. I can include the live rock and coral (pulsing xenias) which they consider home. Links to their pics are below. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

Thank you,
James

I've always wanted to try to breed them. I can certainly give them a great space. Have you been able to hatch anything and keep them? how difficult is that process?
Appreciate the reply.

I have them in a 13.5g nano tank, so the parameters haven't been stable enough for the eggs to reach maturity. As for getting them to lay eggs, the pair just need to be comfortable and have a small fairly flat and safe area for them to place their eggs. It took them less than a month to resuming egg laying behaviors after the last time I had to teardown and reassemble the tank.

I'll hand off the live rock they currently use, which is covered with pulsing xenias and has an area behind the xenias where they've been placing their eggs. I can also provide buckets to transport everything too. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you,
James
