Hey all...
I have been trying to find a pump that will drive my closed loops.
Bought a couple eheim 1262s, not strong enough. Kept one for the return...sold the other.
Ah....these will do it, I said---a couple of Reeflow Snappers!
Well I finally got them started and they just aren't enough punch...

I know why. I am throttling them down to 1" plumbing and trying to push water out of a bunch of little ports.

What I need is a pressure-rated pump--like an Iwaki or something like that.

But before I go out and buy yet another pump to 'hope' it will get the job done...I was hoping someone might have one laying around that I might borrow for a day or two?

Also...does anyone want to buy some Reeflow snappers?
125 for one and 100 for the other--both in great shape but one needs an O-ring.

Thanks
Dave

Care to try some eductors first? Velocity is more important than flow here... so pressure comes into play.

I have a few amp masters that you can borrow, if you want. Let me know and I can try and dig them out.

I have an Iwaki 70 if you'd like to try it out. It's louder than a Reeflo, I run a dart and it's practically silent. It is my backup but if you like it maybe we could just do a swap. Let me know if you're interested.

I have 2 external pumps if you want to try them. One is a little giant, and the other is an Iwaki don't know the model numbers.

Hey guys...thanks for all the responses...
I am in Fort Collins...
The GPH on the Snappers is 2600ish I think.

Actually I would love to try anything that says Iwaki on it.
I guess the ideal would be a 70RLT. The RLT suffix designates it as the pressure rated model.

That's the thing...pressure rated. And probably about 1450 gph or around there.

I would really like to check out that 70 Even if it's not the pressure model--that would tell me it's real dimensions.

I am afraid that going with a pressure rated pump will make more noise than I want, but I can always do some sound-mitigation stuff if needed.
