Auto Top Offs. buy or build?

#1
Looking at a auto top off for my 75. I like the tonze, and the ATO but think they are spendy. I have the ability and skills to build my own but wondering if it is worth the time and effort. Thoughts? If I build my own it will be a double float system for security. Anyone in town have the tonze system in stock?

what or how would you build/go?

In my opinion, I'll disagree, I had a DIY, but can tell you there comes a point in time time, when buying is better than a DIY. After you look at a DIY from Auto top off (mentioned above) or http://www.aquahub.com/store/index.html you mind as well but an ATO unit. Look at all the parts needed... and considering the true cost of building.

If you all disagree, than buy my DIY. I built one from all the pieces and parts from aqua hub, and replaced it with an Apex last year. I spent homesty 70 bucks, will sell it for $40 and you can have the 12v relay, in a box, with the plug, and a float switch in an intergrated package with a kill switch. I used it for 3 years without a problem, after I bought an Apex with the float switch module, I was able to intergrate everything with conditioal programing (consider I paid more than $1400 for the whole apex). The Tunze is worth the $
