This is pretty much what I did with my 60 gal. I put a 26 gal sump in the basement on the same racks you used and piped up about 10' total to the tank. My return pump is a Danner supreme mdl 7 with piping losses a 9 might be a better pump but this one seems to be doing allright. I have two 550 gpm Korolia heads on a Hydor smart wave in the tank, one high and one low pointing to get a circular motion. I would suggest replacing the boards that came with the racks with 3/4" shelving w/Melamine coating, I got these at Home Depot. The original boards once got wet once and sagged pretty bad. Any suggestions on my setup appreciated.

Good lord dude.... This set up is awesome... Once the fiancé and me got a house I planned on doing the big display tank basement sump but this is a whole another level!! Holy cow.... I am sooo jealous!! I don't even have my first saltwater tank fully set up yet but I want this and can see myself doing something like this... Ok not this. But a fraction of your 1500+ gallons ;)! Awesome build looks great!
